Can I sharpen a titanium dive with with a kitchen knife sharpener?

I bought this titanium dive knife and it isn’t very sharp and I’d like to get a nice edge on it. Can I use the knife sharpener in my kitchen knife block?

Dive knives aren’t supposed to be sharp. The reason, your hands get cold and you can’t tell you’ve cut yourself.

Your question is about sharpening a knife (does not matter that you call it a diving knife). Did I make a mistake? See, I clicked on this board and it said "SPORT OF SWIMMING (and diving which actually means spring board diving which is a ’swimming event’ in meets). I must have missed the title that said "KNIFE SHARPENING".

So, why don’t you go to the ‘raising a baby’ message board as your question is as related to that as it is to this board?

OR, call the place where you bought the knife or a kitchen shop where they sharpen knives or a KNIFE STORE frequently found at big malls.
