I have a ka-bar Combat knife but it’s blunt as hell. I tried sharpening it with a whetstone but it isn’t sharp enough. I can’t afford to buy any other sharpener. Can you please tell me the proper to sharpen it? I want it to be sharp as a razor.

  Some knife companies have hand held sharpeners you run the blade through. I got one from Ridge Runner Knives and it works really good. Run it through once and the blade is sharp enough to shave the hair off my arm.

  Plenty of oil or water on your whetstone, time, patience.
